Held Health locations — available at multiple clinic sites and online
Held Health is accessible across the UK via secure video consultations and at a number of clinic locations, including London, Manchester, Exeter and Barnstaple. Held Health is headquartered in Exeter with a clinical team across the UK.
Assessment for ADHD, ASD, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health
We can assess for and help with neurodiversity issues such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as Learning Disabilities (LD) and a range of mental health challenges. We can help young people who are out of school, and identify what might be done to help their wellbeing and assist or re-engage them in their learning.
Personalised care plan with interventions covering medication, therapy and self-help
We are registered with the CQC for the treatment of disorders so we can prescribe medication if needed.
Where anxiety or low mood are impacting on a young person’s functioning, we can offer a range of interventions from self-help guides through to individual therapy such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), as well as prescribe medication.
Held Health believes in the strength of families and have a team to help and support families that are struggling with complex neurodiversity issues.
We offer a five session ASD/ADHD education and intervention package for families as well as bespoke systemic (family) interventions.
Experienced multi-disciplinary clinical team
All of our clinicians have worked in the NHS and have at least 5 years’ experience in their particular specialist area. Some have more than 20 years’ experience. Our team consists of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family (systemic) therapists and nurse specialists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Educational Psychologists. All our practitioners carry an enhanced DBS check, are registered with an appropriate professional body (GMC, HCPC), are supervised and insured.
How it works
We often start with a comprehensive initial assessment to determine what would be the most helpful path for you and your family.
Where appropriate, we can then offer more specialized assessments before working with you to develop a personalized care plan to meet your objectives.
Our governance and compliance
Held Health is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has achieved ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification for our integrated management system and quality assurance systems. We are also registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and hold Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
