Amy Doyle Occupational Therapist

Amy Doyle

Occupational Therapist and Family Systemic Therapist

Amy is a systemic family therapist and occupational therapist, with almost a decade of experience working in the NHS, including in specialist CAMHS, with eating disorders, in community perinatal mental health, and learning disability services.

Amy completed her systemic training at the University of Exeter. She is particularly enthusiastic about providing opportunities for families to explore their challenges and engage in conversations about change and difference.

She completed postgraduate training in occupational therapy at Cardiff University and identified an interest in sensory processing difficulties, leading her to train as a sensory integration practitioner with Sheffield Hallam University/Sensory Integration Education. She is able to complement this attentiveness to embodiment with her prior training as a yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and Special Yoga.

Prior to training as a therapist, Amy studied English literature at the University of Edinburgh. She is keenly interested in embedding narrative practices into her work wherever possible.

Amy is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and the Association of Family Therapists.
