Senior CBT Therapist

Paul began working with young people as a volunteer mentor for young people leaving care in 2006 before joining national youth charity, Fairbridge, supporting hard to reach young people through one to one work. 

Paul trained as a Gestalt/ Humanistic counsellor and worked in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) since 2009 where, alongside his clinical practice, he was part of the design and delivery of a national mental health & wellbeing package (Emotional First Aid) aimed at staff working in universal services supporting Children and Young People. 

In 2017 Paul qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma in Evidence Based Psychological Pathways Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and has experience as a specialist in CBT assessment and treatment for children, young people, and their families. 

Paul is an accredited member of both British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP) and has also worked as a Lecturer and Supervisor at Exeter University on the Low Intensity CBT programmes.
